Summary:

The Engineering Technology Council is composed of representatives from technical college members of the American Society for Engineering Education and other interested affiliate college members. Its basic objectives are to assess and recommend policies affecting the overall administration of accredited technical colleges and schools, promote discussion and exchange of information exchange about the problems and experiences of technical colleges and institutions, and represent member technical colleges.

The Engineering Technology Council series documents the awards, annual meetings, and committees. Materials included are annual reports, meeting agendas and minutes, correspondence, memoranda, survey comparisons, announcements, nomination speeches, photographs, and report publications. Also documented is the Education Technology Oral History Project which consists of interviews on audio and video tapes, and written transcripts.

Materials include meeting minutes and agendas, correspondence, memoranda, conference programs, annual reports, committee findings and reports, membership lists, correspondence relating to the Journal of Engineering Technology, editorial policies, and proposals to have the magazine published. Bound issues of the journal can be found on the 4th floor of Snell Library.
